Tue. was pumpkin carving day. We choose this day, because Todd was going to be home after working his 7 nights. The kids were so excited. Then why the kids were at school Todd got a call from his boss asking him if he would like to come in and work that night. Well, these days no one really wants to give up overtime, so he went to work and the rest of us carved pumpkins. Not my favorite thing to do, but the kids love it. I do like the creating part, but really don't like cleaning out the pumpkins. I would rather paint the outside of the pumpkin then go through the torture of the mess and gooiness. The sacrifices a mom will make for her kids. I even spent over an hour cleaning off seeds so that we could make roasted pumpkin seeds. The kids ask me every year and I will never do it. So I gave in this year and they were YUMMY!! Everyone got their Pumpkins done that night and Todd got his done the next day, which is when we had the big Lighting of the SPOOKY Pumpkins! What Fun it is to have kids and experience the joy and excitement through their eyes.

Sadly I was too sick so instead of 30 hours overtime we got 9 :(. Jump On It looks like a lot of fun. I want to do flips in that harness! I seperated out my pumpkin seeds but could never get enough of the goop off to roast them.
