My Monster's Birthday Celebration!

Since Todd had to work on Halloween we decided to celebrate Kelten's birthday on Thursday. This we also did because it was early out at school, so they wouldn't have to miss school. The first thing we did was go to Chuck E Cheese. My kids love this place and love playing all the games. It's no the cheapest place to eat pizza, so we only go on special occasions. We spent 2 (yes 2) hours there. I think they would have played longer, but we ran out of tokens and mean Mom wasn't wiling to buy anymore. This was even a hit with Knightin and TJ, they were all in heaven.

Next on the Agenda was a trip to Jump on It! We have heard about this place, but had not yet gone. So what better time to go then for a birthday! The kids loved it and we spent another 2 hours there, jumping, running, bugeeing. The babies went up and down the inflatable slide and played in the bouncy House. There was also a toddlers corner that they played in. Ki and Taylar got in lots of flips as well as Todd. They shot baskets while jumping and played dodge ball. They had a bungee tramp, where you put a harness on and get all hooked up to a pulley system, so that you can bounce really high and do all kinds of flips. Everyone in our family did this activity. It was a blast. The babies weren't able to bounce themselves, but the kind kid that was helping bounced them and they were all smiles and giggles. I found out that my body just isn't young anymore and gravity affects it greatly. Though it was really fun, they next couple of days I got to deal with headaches from a sore neck and a little tight through the back. It was worth it though and my kids thought I was way cool for being willing to do it. Todd wasn't sore the next day, but he felt his age while doing it and neither of us made it through the whole time allotment that they give you. Haha, it stinks to get old. We took a lot of little short video clips to remember the day, because the lighting was terrible for picture taking, but you would be bored with that many videos so I just uploaded a few of my favorites. I did try and upload TJ on the bungee, but it wouldn't take for what ever reason. It was a fun afternoon.

After we finished there we went to Macey's for yummy soft serve ice cream cones, then over to Toys'R'Us for Kelten to spend his birthday money from Grandpa and Grandma Bassett. Kelten told us it was one of his best birthdays and the rest of the kids were all smiles and can't wait until the next birthday, they want to do it all again. The kids all slpet great that night!

Happy Birthday Kelten!
