My Grandma is our Genealogy person. She loves it and is so very good at it. My dad is the one that is getting into it along with my brother, so that there will be someone to keep up the work when she does at some point pass on. She is amazing and never seems to be out of names if anyone wants to go and do temple work. She has been doing family names for as long as I can remember, and it seems at some point you just couldn't go any further or that you would hit a road block, and I'm sure she has but it doesn't stop her. She is amazing! So, our Stake down here in Mona set a goal to accomplish 600 family names being taken through the temple. This is to happen in a years time. The goal was given I think last mid-May. So of course my family down here takes the goal on and we decide to contribute as much to this goal as we can. It helps that we have 4 couples plus my baby brother, that are all temple goers, and 6 nephews and nieces that can do Baptisms, all in the same stake(most it the same ward). Now Todd and I don't get to go as often as we would like, but we go when we can, same with my oldest sister and her husband, but My other sister and her husband have a unique situation in life that allows them to at least do 2 couple of sessions a week and sometimes more. They just love to go. So now 5 months after the goal last night we all went as a family and did sealings. 60 kids and 26 couple to be exact. When we left the temple that evening that finished 120 names from start to finish. YEAH!! My Grandmas was beaming with joy. Most of the credit goes to Mindy and Roger, but I'm glad that I have gotten to be part of it. My sister figures that if we all keep at least doing what we have been doing. We'll have finished 280 names by the May goal. Hopeful we can keep it up after the goal is done. It is such a worthy thing to be doing.
