Haircuts!

So we did some haircuts in the last couple of days. Kelten got clay in his hair and didn't want to tell me, so took matters into his own hands to get it out. So the rest of the hair got to come off. It was getting pretty long anyway. We might keep his hair buzzed for awhile, even though it's not one of my favorite hairstyles. We have been having issues in regard to his hair lately. The babies always torture each other and Kelten. Their favorite thing to do to Kelten is pull his hair. Then to top it off Kelten is in a stage where he exaggerates his hurts. The day before we cut his hair TJ pulled his hair and he cried for 15 minute. He would not let it go. So maybe this can at least solve the hair pulling problem, now to solve the hitting him with trains!
They are always asking me for a Mohawk when I cut their hair. They don't want to keep one, but they have been wanting pictures, because they think it's way cool, but being the mean mom that I am, I never want to take the time to gel it up and hairspray it for the pictures. Hair cutting is not one of the joys of life for me. I finally broke down and did it this time since he was my only haircut for the day. His hair was getting pretty long so it made for a pretty good Mohawk.

I have been trying to get myself to cut TJ's hair for a little while now. It is so thin and the longer it gets the more thin and straggly it is. It looks fine when I do it, but there is nothing there. My sister and I had really thin hair when little and my mom kept it short until it thickened up. So my little sweet pea will probably be sporting a short dew for awhile. For church I did an updew, she looked all grown up. Then after church I chopped it. I want it to thicken up and I'd rather keep it short now, so she can have it longer later if she wants. I think I cut off what little curl she had, Oh well! TJ has gotten into squinting her eye whenever I ask her to smile for the camera, so pictures of her are probably going to be squinty or none smile, what fun. I love this stage!
