I finally got a chance to go through my pictures from CA and pick out some of my favorites to highlight our trip.
At the back of Todd's family's property is a forest, it's pretty cool and has a trail going down through it. I took the kids down it for some good old hiking and exploring. And of course pictures!
They have this big chunky tricycle there on the property that was a big hit both trips to CA this year.
Of course there was a ton of Apple picking while there. We ate apples, mad apple pie, apple crisp, apple scones, apple cake and fresh apple juice. Then we brought bad 3 huge bags of apples with us. The kids still aren't sick of them. We were able to pre-make up some apple pie filling and ground up apple for muffins and pancakes to fresh, YEAH!!
These are just some funny faces I caught of Knightin. Don't you love the fact that he is in his sponge bob underwear to boot?!
The property also has this huge Cedar Tree. The kids found it our last trip and any time we didn't know were they were the tree is where we would find them. Their cousins that live there kind of built a little fort up in it. They have a tire swing and another swing to play on, and it's huge to climb and completely umbrellas this big play area under it. A kids dream tree! I wish we had one in our back yard. Ki and Taylar climbed to the top many times. I Hope you will be able to get a feel for how big this tree is from the pictures.

Grandma had bought these cardboard playhouses that the kids got to paint, that was a great project, so much fun. The pictures of TJ crying are because she was so not done painting when we finally put them away for the night!

It was so good to see you guys! I just wish we didn't have to go all the way to Cali to get together. We should get together more often.
