I thought this was such a cute poem. It's is what probably most people feel about their jobs right? Todd really does love his jobs, and his bosses. The politics of all jobs have their ups and downs, but he loves working as a corrections nurse and the inmates give him plenty of fun stories to tell. Todd has a 28 day rotating schedule. He has to work seven grave in a row, but for that he gets 7 off in a row, not a bad trade, but even Todd who is always happy and positive is ready for those night shifts to be over each month. About a year ago the jail was going to get a critical care nurse job that would have been a M-F job and Todd was excite and was going to put in for it, but then budget crunches happen and that position went out the door, so sad. So we just wait hoping that it will come open again someday.
So his bosses pull him in and tell him about a job that doesn't raise his pay and that he will probably get a few more things to do, hence the comic above. Todd is such a hard working, dependable and dedicated, sometimes I think this does happen to him. He gets more load put on him, because they know it will get done. Of course Todd never complains, he loves the fact that he stays busy, never a dull moment.
So thay tell him about the job, and what goes along with it and tell him, WE WANT YOU!!

So Todd has a new job, well a new position anyway, within the jail. He actually put in for it a couple of months. The Clinics Nurse there decide that he wanted a regular shift again, so the position went up for bid so to say. He hadn't heard anything since that time from his bosses, yet it was suppose to start in just a couple of weeks now. He kept hearing rumors that he had it from other that work there, but never anything offical from his bosses. Yesterday at work he finally got pulled in and offered the job. It is a M-F job 8 hour shifts. We will have him home on the weekends. We'll miss his 7 days off, but won't miss the working on Sundays and the 7 graves.
This is where is good work ethics pulled through for him once again.
