My Mom and Dad a few weeks ago, inherited a boat from my brother whether they wanted it or not. So they have decided to make the best of it and use it, by taking the different families out, and spending the day with them. We got to go out yesterday, and since we were able to go out early enough and spend several hours just with our family, my mom and dad invited the rest of the kids and their families to come out for dinner and some boating. My kids had a blast. We went to Yuba Lake which until yesterday I didn't realize that it was only 30 minutes from our house. We went tubing, and swam, built sandcastles, and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire later on. Now that Todd and I realize that Yuba is so close I think we will try and get out there a couple of more times before the season is over. We will take the boat there ourselves in a couple of weeks to have fun just the kids and us. So here are some pictures from our day. The kids that you may or may not recognize or nephews and nieces.
