Today we took the kids to the Mona Days! Down here in Juab county, Nephi gets the 4th of July and Mona gets the 24th. That way you don't have the crazy conflict. The 4th celebration is a big fund raiser for the Young Womens program and the scouts and the 24th is the fund raiser for the elementary. So we started off at 9:45 am for the parade, which the kids were in. They were on the Mona 3rd ward float. Todd was one of the lucky judges for the parade. Then the next 5 hours were spent doing a variety of things, including big inflatable slides, a water slide, rock climbing, riding a pony, 4-wheeler rides, face painting, a raffle, talent show, the kids races (which they all got a dollars whether they won or not), and their favorite was when the firemen used their hoses and sprayed all the kids. That was a lot of water and a lot of fun. The two little ones got a little tired without their naps, but did really good. They all had a blast and can't wait until next year, so that we can do it all over again. I decided to do a slideshow, so that it wouldn't take up to pages of space to show you all our day.
We don't very often get Knightin to dance for us. He actually has been our child that dances the lest, even TJ dances more then him. So when he was dancing to the music today at the park, we just had to record it. Sorry the quality is bad, it's recorded off our camera, instead of the video camera. Hope you enjoy, we thought it was cute.
We are finishing the night off by watching fireworks, we can't go to the park because of sleeping babies, so we will see what we get to see from our yard, we don't live but a few blocks away. Hopefully in another couple of years we can go to the park and lay under them. I hear that is the way to view fireworks.
We had to put up our crazy pictures of the fireworks. They are all squiggly, and crazy. I think I'll try a tripod next year, or be a lot closer and not have to zoom in so much.

It was really weird not to have a 7-24 celebration this year. My first not having one in almost a decade! That is a lot of activity and celbration!
It looks like Kightin might want to be a professional horse rider than a race car driver now. I loved the pictures!!!
Wow!! Looks like you guys had a blast!! We want to go next year!! Sounds like that's the place to be for the 24th celebration. Thanks for all the fun pictures to look at.
