Girls Camp

When we moved down to Mona, my sisters also moved down here and live a couple of miles from Todd and I. Well, I guess are destined to live close all our lives. We moved from Provo, living next door to each other, which has its good and bad. The bad mostly being we don't get as much done, since we visit to often. Living in the same town, but a couple of miles away is great. We see each other when we want, but it's not as convenient to run next door and get caught in a conversation that could last for hours. There are 3 wards in Mona and because of where we are the 3 sisters families are all in the 3rd ward, which is to the great amusement of the other ward members. Soon after we move in we all get callings. Todd and I in Primary, where we have been more often than not, plus the cleaning building coordinators. Carry my oldest sister and her husband, in Secretary positions, again where they have been before. Roger, Mindy's husband in elders quorum, again the same and Mindy in Young Womens, being the Camp Director, with Carry as one of her assistants. She has has this calling many times. I guess we all must be very good at these calling or very bad and haven't gotten it right yet. Anyway, when Mindy is involved in Girls Camp, it becomes a family affair. She pulls on all her resources that her family can do. The theme of the camp was a Retreat. You go learn, have some activities, and some relaxation. She had the whole thing be on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being. The last day was spa day. Which included getting pampered. Hair, nails, facials, and massage. That is where I came in. I got to do a quick demo, of a full body massage, then I gave everyone a chair massage. I ended up giving 25 massages and 6 hours later I was finally done. Wow, I was beat. I didn't feel it as much when I was doing them, but after stopping for a little bit, I got all stiff and achy. Lucky for me after a good nights sleep I was fine the next day. I guess the girls loved it, and I might have got some new clients out of the leaders, yeah for that. My advice for LMT, if you haven't really done massage for awhile, don't start back into it by giving 6 hours worth of massages! LOL!!!

Oh I would be stiff and then sit in the tub forever.

I bet your beat! I do 1 massage for 5 minutes and I'm beat! Well, when you have fully recovered, I would love to get in line!

Someone needs to give you a message now!
