September was a whirlwind!

Wow, what happened to the month? It was over before it began. there was a birthday party for TJ, Tj also got to go on a birthday date with are good friend Helen. She had a blast, art classes, Todd worked 2 weekend shifts, the boys went camping. Tay started Ballroom, We had our last therapy appointment for Knightin. Pinewood derby was this month and Knightin took 2nd place, probably would have taken 1st but his wheel fell off. He only lost one race the whole night. We attended the Ogden temple dedication via broadcast at the stake center. Tay and I attended the general Women's conference broadcast. The kids had their primary program, Todd and I made cute apple baskets with carmel and delivered them to our Visiting teaching and home teaching families.We had a scout court of honor. Kelten receiving 3 rank advancements and 7 Merit Badges, Ki received 3 more Merit Badges ( totaling 39 all together). Todd has been working hard and having fun with the 11 year old scouts. He is down to 2 active scouts, Kelten being one that only has 3 weeks left. They are both 1st class so mtgs are all about Merit badges and service now, those can be a lot of fun. Ki has also been working hard to get all his eagle workbook done. All he has left to do is schedule his Board of review, YEAH so close to done!!!! Todd and I went on a mini vacation with my two sisters and their spouses to Brainhead, UT. It was great and we had fun and relaxed. We bugged my mom on her birthday from Brianhead all day long, with fun and great pictures, then finished up with us all face timing her and singing Happy Birthday! I picked Tay up early from school one day and we went shopping in Provo and out to lunch, sometimes you just have to do that. The last full week of the month Tay was busy with homecoming, being a student body officer, you get to stay busy that week. They ended the week with a parade through town ( I got to/had to drive our friends Ranger for the kids to ride in) and the homecoming game, which the WON!!! They lost the last two years, so this was a big deal. We have been trying to finish up our pavers this month before the weather turns bad, but our weekends have been busy so we still have a small section to do, the next 2 saturdays are looking good, we will keep our fingers crossed. We are so close though. We have been getting things winterized for the winter and I founds some 50% off deals on some grapes, and boston ivy to put on our arbors and also a pine tree. We got those planted this past Saturday. We had one of our Lawn mowers break, but decided to fix it next season, money is a little lower with projects, fixing cars, and getting ready for Christmas, the kids will just have to share the one, they aren't thrilled about that. :)  I have taken some family kid pictures for Mindy and my family, Carry's last month, plus baby turner, that I am still working on, Then I took some of Kadi and her date for homecoming that I also need to get edited. Never a dull moment. We also this month having been focusing more on service in the home and trying hard to be more kind and loving. We have taken away the use of electronic for the time being and trying to get back to some basic fun, my kids one to many times have tired to tell me that everything else is boring to do, well kiddos I get to be the mean mom now and force you to be creative, use those amazing minds that I know you have! It will take some time, but I know we can get there. We have also started a new consequence regiment. If they do something wrong or inappropriate they get a point grounding. They have do earn a specified amount of points to get ungrounded. The ways to earn them is all work, which I don't know about anyone elses kids but mine do not like to have to do extra work, so far it is fairly effective, and I get extra things done around the house. :) Ki is in a grounding right now, he is my boy that struggles. He likes to sneak on the Ipad and play mindcraft, and even take it downstairs which is against the rule.  Darn-it! I hope we can find something that works for our family.

We have another busy month ahead of us, though I am not sure we have slow months anymore, though holidays are always crazy!!!

I will try to post pictures in the next couple of days. I have to collect them from all the different sources. My phone, Todd's phone, some from Carry, My camera. When I get everything together I will get them posted, hopefully before the week is out so I don't fall so behind this month.
