September , Another month down.

Well, the last couple of weeks, have been pretty normal. We are starting our 4th week back to school, the kids are all adjusted with sleep, doing homework and loving it, right? Knightin showed some of his true colors this past week, his teacher handled it like a pro! She is going to be a great teacher for Knightin, she is patient, understanding, has plenty of structure and rules. I think it is a great combination and I am excited to see how Knighitn does this year.
Taylar got her learners permit, so she is an official driver of these streets. She is having fun and we have gone driving almost every night since then. She didn't pass the first test, but passed with flying colors the second try!
The other kids are just trucking along, the younger 3 are riding their bikes to school whenever the weather permits, and it is helping them enter a contest. Then enjoy school then come home, do their chores and then play. What more could a kids ask for! ;)
We have made t-shirts, and scout neckerchiefs, set up a new job chart system, worked more on our yard, done ice bucket challenges on the kids and I guess Todd did it too, though I didn't get to see that, Todd and I finally went out to dinner for our Anniversary, only a week late, not to bad! Knightin had a pack night and received an astronomy belt loop. Kids are doing scouts and Young Womens, trying to get ready for TJ's birthday, on Labor day we labored, heehee, ( kids did not like that) then we had a movie marathon, and we went grocery shopping for the month that is always fun!!
I think that about sums up our last couple of weeks.

Our cute offical teenage driver of the house!

This is the contest that the 3 younger kids are doing, they love riding their bikes to school.
TJ after the first day of riding her bike, ended up wearing a hole right through both the tire and tube.
We went to walmart hoping to find a replacement tire, but instead found this blue bike on clearance. There was two of them, we bought both cause Knightin will need one soon. They were $130 bikes on clearence for $30, and all they needed was some wd-40 on the hand brakes. Yeah us!!.
TJ wasn't to thrilled with a straight blue bike, she wanted the purple one, but we got her some cute stickers to girly it up and she is thrilled!!

A few weeks ago Todd's scout group made their cougar shirts, this week they made their cougar neckerchiefs. They turned out great and the boys saved about $8 off the price of the BSA neckerchiefs

These are our new job charts. I have made these for all the different jobs. I have to check off all the things. This past week the house has been the cleanest it has ever been. I guess they just needed an idea of what it was I exactly was expecting from them!

We got our arbors all cemented in this passt week and put a bunch more pavers in. I think we only have a few more batches to finish up this area.

This is the new area that we are working on and clearing when we are not doing pavers and rocks. We got all the grass cleared out and we are working on building up the planters!

Tay volunteered to make t-shirts for the student body officers. They were fun to make and turned out pretty cool. Tay is V-president this year again!

We made TJ's invites yesterday so we can get them out. Since it is at the pool we are making it a friend party all together. The other kids get to invite some friends as well. It should be fun, I hope the weather holds for another week!

There has been a ice bucket challenge going around, It is for ALS awareness and donations, all my kids ended up being challenged by different friends, they thought it was so fun to have ice water dumped over them. Crazy kids!!

Tay's video wasn't uploading good so here is some pictures!

Ki during his just sat there, no flinching, no screaming, no running! What a stud! I don't have a picture or video I pushed the wrong button, great mom fail!!
