Another Month Gone By....

We have concluded another month. The kids have completed one full month of school. The weather is starting to cool down, the leaves are changing and Halloween is right around the corner. I love Fall and all the colors, it is coming a little later this year. We still are having some close to 90 degree weather days. Though it is cooling down the weather is still to hot for me. I love Spring and Fall for the cool temps and the so don't last long enough.
I still had plenty to do this week, but I still felt like it was a little bit slower then the weeks throughout the summer. This week I had the fun of taking some family pictures for some friends here in Mona. I love doing this, yet I look forward to the day when I have the day time free, so that I can teach myself the techniques, so that I can have better pictures. Since I took pictures I spent some time editing. The Williams, one of the families I took pictures for, invited us over to their house afterward to roast marshmallow and do some zip-lining. I think riding the zip-line was the highlight of my kids week. I also got to go help my friend Audrey tile her bathroom floor. Start to finish all by ourselves. I was pretty impressed with us! I'm still helping with scouts, Rachel's husband came this week, which was very nice since Todd didn't get to come. We played basketball and played freeze tag. We didn't get to see Todd very much this week. The kids didn't see him from Sunday night until Wed. night. He had a crazy overtime this week. One of the doctors that he works with is taking a vacation this coming week and so his clinics were doubled up. We would like to think that would make for an easy week this week, but until I see it I won't believe it. Friday Todd got home a little earlier, so we took advantage and watched a movie, Saturday was spent tiling and grouting over at my sisters home. The tile is all finally laid, except for the showers, whewwww that was a huge job, not that I did I ton of it, but they have a lot of tile. I will get to do more grouting with Mindy next week. At 6 Sat. evening Todd went up to the stake center and listened to the priesthood session of conference. We listened to it on the radio earlier, Todd likes it so much better watching it, but we were able to help out by listening to it. We were very excited to here that not only are they rebuilding the Provo Tabernacle that burned down last year, but they are making it in to a second temple for Provo. How cool is that. The first city to have 2, and they do need it. Sat. night we watched another movie, yeah for Todd. He loves movies and never gets to watch them. We got 2 in one week. Today will be spent listening to the words of our prophets and leaders. Then taking some kid pictures this evening. I don't usually like to take pictures on Sunday, but I am not sure when else to do it when I have Todd around.

Little tid-bits that happened this week was Knightin learned to write his name. I discovered Pinterest, not a good thing for me, but at least now I have a better place then bookmarked pages to store all my dreams and ideas. We have had another sighting of  a camel spider. Also sightings of 2 more mice.  I mowed the lawn and it needs to be mowed again. Ki had his last day of Cub Scouts this week, and can't wait until his first day of Scouts on Tues. My niece and mom had a birthday this week, and my dryer door broke, but we were able to flip it and it works again.

Good -bye September, let's rock October!!

 Perry Family
Williams Family, Those are some silly kids!

Cute orphan kids up in the barn loft!
 Marshmallow Time!!!
My kids were in zip-line heaven. Knightin couldn't get enough. We need to figure out how to get one!
Ki was asking for a different picture every 5 sec., OK not that often, but he was all picture happy that night.
My Tay is always picture happy. Loves being captured on film.
 Play time with friends.
 The girls being monkeys!
Tramp and rope swing, My kids came home feeling that our yard was so not cool. Hey, hey now, it is going to be very cool, just not until you guys have kids. We have lots of trees, just all of them babies! Sorry guys.
My cuties pie, a brat but still a cutie pie.
 Tiling Audrey's bathroom.
 Finished product!
Not, bad, not bad. Next time we are tiling in heals and pearls, heehee!
We want to show everyone, that we are Woman, hear us roar!
Basketball and tag with the scouts!
Our camel/scorpion spider, twice as big as the last one. A little over an inch. I'm scared the next one will be 2 inches, yuck!

Provo Tabernacle Fire, it was so sad!
I wonder if there is any chance they will bring it back to it's original glory, with the 5th center tower, that would be cool!
 Future (south) Provo Temple!
TJ like many little girls loves doing hair. This is the product of hair time.
These are 2 random pictures. When we were helping Phil and Audrey tile their kitchen, we took some stuff over to a neighborhood yard sell. One of the things was this couch, that Todd and I had. Phil and Todd were chilling in the back on the way over.
Just in case any of you missed me saying many times that I love small towns, here it is again. I Love Small Towns. Where else do you get to ride around on your 4-wheelrs, ride your horses down the street, have a small farm in your backyard, let your kids ride their bikes freely, see tractors frequenting the roads, and have a cow herding traffic jam! Small towns make me smile!!!!

Happy September!!

I guess the spider scorpions just want to be around in time for conference.
