This year Taylar decided to do hers on what cleaner would work the best to clean a penny and bring it back to its original shine. She had 8 different cleaners and for the quickest difference lemon juice worked, but in overall clean and shine CLR cleaner won. So if you ever want to shine up your Pennies there you have it.
Ki decided to stress me out by choosing to do one this year. 3rd graders don't have to do one, but I guess they can if they want to, so now my 15 projects just turned into 16 at least. Maybe I can convince the other 3 that doing their 3 projects is plenty. Anyway Ki wanted to do something with sound, so we found a simpler project where he could find out which sound would cause the most movement in a pile of rice. He use the sound from his voice, a popper, a drum a pot and a vortex cannon. The pot cause a lot of the rice to move, but the vortex cannon won overall.
Now we are done for another year!!!!
