ER Visit

OK, so I know that this cut is not that big of a cut, and you might be wondering why in the heck did you go to the ER to get it taken care of, but I did have a good reason. Todd and I are really bad about not taking our kids to the doctors if we don't have to. Butterfly bandages work great and who really cares about scars anyway right, especially for little boys. They just think they are cool. I did go back and forth of whether or not to take him, and almost took him home after getting there, because it was taking to long. But my reasoning for staying was, it is on his face and I wanted it to be the best looking scar that is possible, so we sat and waited to get 4 stitches. Lucky for us though our friend Becky was our nurse that night and she helped the time pass by, and let me know that I wasn't to dumb for coming in for a small cut. It was deeper then it looked though. So anyway here are some pictures from the hospital visit, and Ki's little wound. If you are wondering how it happened, we were over at my sister's house and the kids were playing around, Taylar got mad at him and shoved him. He fell hitting his head on the corner of the glass on the kitchen table, OUCH!!! We now have officially had all our kids go to the ER at least once, not to bad since we have 5 kids.Ki getting local anesthetics

Nurse Becky! She is Dizzy's mom, Kelten's little girlfriend for those who read my blog. We love Becky and her family.

Ki and the Doctor starting the procedure. This is Doctor Oveson my dad is in his ward and home teaches him. It's a small world, but much smaller in a small town

Ki was pretty freak, and even cried a little. He was shaking pretty bad, and finally started calming down after Dr. Oveson was using the needle and Ki realized it didn't hurt at all.

All done, he is getting his last vitals and a hand balloon.

That to me is a worthwhile ER visit. I try not to go to the ER for things like Pink Eye and Fevers but deep wounds freak me out! But you have me wondering what Knightin and TJ went to the ER for.
