This last month has been so busy for us. End of school is so crazy, with end of school projects being turned in, testing ( It looks like Knightin will get into preschool again next year and will do some further testing to see why he is behind) and of course parties and programs. Then Todd and I have been working on Camperworld signs, the yard (which sprinklers were put off for about 3 weeks, due to having to finish signs), massage business is picking up. Work for Todd has been crazy we are getting some overtime, but home stuff has been progressing slowly. Todd has also been called as Elders Quorm President which has been a busy add on. (Lessons, a talk in Sacrament Mtg., meeting, meetings, have I mentioned meetings, then some more meetings, we are excited for the challenge though). Summer breakfast has started at Camperworld, swimming, playing and park lunches has started for the kids. Singing lessons for Tay. We have been to the Zoo, celebrated my dad's birthday, Cub Scout Day Camp, Dentist and doctors, trying pathetically to work on a garden, raking rocks again, putting in an electric dog fence and continually re-digging out our trenches because the rain keeps filling them back in. I don't think the sprinkler system is ever going to get done some days! Then something we didn't have to work on ourselves but were excited to get was Todd's Blanket, which I designed for him. We had a good friend put together the top, and a lady from my mom's ward put it all together. We got it a couple of weeks ago and Todd loves it. The Summer has just begun and we haven't even put a dent in the things that will be accomplished during the next couple of months, we will see if I can stay up on my blog a little better.
Now for a few pictures!
Every Year Mona Elem. puts on a Spring Fling. Every grade does a different dance. It is a fun evening to go see the kids preform.
Tay was in Fifth grade this past year and that is the year to do the May Pole! They do several different things besides the traditional wrapping of the ribbons, some are pretty complex they did so good!
Ki's grade did the country dance performance. We do not own any cowboy clothes, so we borrowed some. The hat and shoes are a little big, but it worked.
Kelten's class did a surfing, summer fun dance. They all made their own cardboard surf boards. Kelten was very proud of his.

Here is part of our pathetic garden. Since I don't have a ton of time to work on it and Todd definitely doesn't. It is up to the kids and they are doing great. But because we didn't know how well they would do, we didn't do really anything special to our rocking ground. I'm surprised that anything is growing. The other problem we had is we planted about 2 weeks to early and had a couple of freezes, so lost most of what we planted. The broccoli served and is thriving, the peas made it, a few corn, a couple of carrots, a cucumber and one of our tomatoes, though it almost died and what use to be a big plant is now starting from ground zero, but is finally getting some growth to it.

Here is Todd's Quilt. Those who know Todd, knows he loves to draw, well his little trade mark is the lighting bolt. This he puts in almost all of his drawings and from an earlier post you know that the ring he designed for me has a lighting bolt on it. So when quilting especially in this buggy barn style was becoming popular around here in Mona and Nephi. I asked my Friend if I designed a lighting bolt design that could be sewn, if she would put it together for me. That is where it all started and we got it completely finished and home a couple of weeks ago. Todd loves it!

My sisters, nieces, Tay and I all went to the General Young Women's Conference. Tay got to experience her first time in the Huge Conference Center and got to see the prophet. She had fun and enjoyed the talks. I can't believe I almost have a young women in my home.

This is one of the 4 signs Todd and I have been working on for Camperworld. This has taken such a long time. It is a 4' x8' (full sheet of sign board) everything had to be cut out and painted by hand. Several coats of paint were put on it all. I am glad to announce that it is finished and will be heading up north on Tues. I have to of the other small signs done and still working on the 4' x 4' swimming pool rule sign, but almost done.
It does look better then this picture, at this point I hadn't filled in the nail holes or put on the finally semi-gloss coat on verithane.
Tay had been wanting her hair short again, but I have a hard time, since I want it a little longer. So I have been stalling. We finally gave in and it is cut again. She is going to get a little more cut off. I have to let her get what she wants, I know that I wouldn't want someone telling me how I had to do my hair. What happened to my little girl that I was able to dress up and do her hair however I wanted. It's fun to watch her though, start to grow into the young women she will be.

Headstart, where Knightin went to preschool this year gave out free tickets to the zoo for their kids and their families. We couldn't pass that one up so off to the zoo we went. the babies had a blast and were so excited to see the different animals and the 3 older ones still loved it, I guess seeing animals that can't live in your home never gets old.

Kelten was very proud of his.We asked my dad what he wanted for his birthday and pretty much all he told us is he wanted his grand kids, so that is what we gave him. We thought it was a fun way to give him what he wanted and a few other things that the kids picked up that reminded them of their Grandpa!
Taylar also sang for my dad. We are working on her shyness and she did pretty good, still wouldn't look at him though.

Being involved in the Cub Scouts for the past 2.5 years has allowed Todd and I to go to Day
Camp for the past couple of years. It has been fun, especially since Ki is in scouts. We get to watch his excitement has he experiences these different things. We had a group of 18 boys go this year, 4 didn't come. That group can keep you busy. The ages range from 7 to 9. The boys got to shoot arrows and BB guns, make and shoot of rockets (Ki's happened to be one that went the furthest, it is amazing how far a paper rocket can soar), do some science experiments, take the rafts out and collect floating balls and some relay races. They all had a blast.

That makes me tired just thinking about doing all that. I still have never been to the Hogle Zoo. Unfortunately they aren't listed on the exchange, meaning our passes won't get us a discount.
