Mona in the last few years has doubled in size. This has caused an overload on the small chapel that is in Mona. The ward Todd and I go to at the moment is in Nephi. they didn't have room for us in the small ward house. They have been approved for the new building for over a year now, but didn't get started until just a couple of months ago. It is scheduled to be done in March, but at this moment is at least a month ahead of schedule. We are all so excited to get a new building. It has been fun, to watch the progress of it being built. They announced on Sunday that they would be raising the steeple and we could all come and watch. Are kids were excited, and we tried to watch, but when we got there the crane had blown a tire and they were having to call in a new one. When it finally happened we, to are kids disappointment were taking care of other commitments, but lucky for us the bishops wife got to see it and took a lot of pictures, and we got to view them all on our TV. Here are some of the pictures.
The steeple waiting for the crane.
Starting to be lifted
Almost straight up
Flying throught the air towards the building
Being lowered.
Set, and now being bolted down
The guy installing the lighting rod.
The finished product.
