We have been out and about for the last few days, trying to find a van to buy that fit our budget, which isn't very big. Well, we found one yesterday, and were able to buy it and bring it home. Now we have a seat for everyone and a automobile that gets a little better gas mileage. It's an older van, but is very clean and runs great, that is all we need. Anyway, because we have been gone, my house of course has fallen apart, so it was my goal to get things back in order today. Along with that, the signs I have been making for Camperworld needed to get verithaned today and dropped off. I also had some t-shirts to make. So I had a pretty busy day ahead of me. All was going well, the kids were being good. I was getting my list marked off, I was on a role. I was now down to only needing to do the last coat of verithane, and I was finishing up the t-shirts. I was feeling pretty darn good about myself. Then it happened, a storm came raging in. The shed I was working in was not staked down because we are getting cement for it, probaly this weekend. This was a nasty little storm, that didn't last long, but the rain was coming down in sheets andthe wind was very hard. From the living room I hear " cool look the wind is picking up the shed" (from Todd). Then you hear me yell" Crap, all my signs and the can of verithane were in there." So Todd and I through on our shoes, ran out to try and save the things, but we were to late. The whole gallon of verithane was spilt all over the ground and my signs were all over the place. They were pretty much dry, so they didn't get as damaged as they could have. We do have some white splotches on them and the big sign has some nice gashes on the back, so over all the damage was minimal, except for that expensive verithane. But, it didn't stop there, Tj decided that she didn't want to be good anymore, Knightin got woke up from his nap from the loud rain and thunder, got freaked out and is still not happy and the rest of the kids decided, because of the craziness decided they can act up as well, and I'm also babysitting the 4 next door neighbor kids. So what started out as a good productive day, turned terribly wrong. I love days like this. Thank goodness, there is always tomorrow.

My day was like that today. Only I was dealing with 2 kids instead of 9.
Sorry about your signs, sounds pretty crazy. Congrats on the new shed and van, sounds like things are moving along! The patio looks nice too.
